Everyday we import new member sign-ups from our party's website. Some members have the same email (husband/wife). We want to keep both members intact in the system. Will the new import overwrite the old member?
NationBuilder uses email addresses as a primary key. That means that only one profile can use any given email address.
For imports, if a person is imported who has an email address that is already in the system, the pre-existing name and contact information will be over written with the information from the import. You can prevent the overwrites by setting the import to not overwrite blank fields.
