Typekit not active

My custom theme seems to be wreaking havoc with typekit but I can't seem to find how it is activated. On some pages/browsers the fonts are showing up, but on others, it's not. When I view the source, on the home page it says it chunk1chunk2-inactive versus on another page (sign-in/login page) it says chunk1chunk2-active. I looked in the object reference but I can't even figure out what it might be called (looked also in "settings" and "reference"). Any pointers? TIA.

This is happening because you are trying to use the NationBuilder TypeKit with a custom domain. The NationBuilder TypeKit only works with *.nationbuilder.com domains. What you need to do is go to http://typekit.com and create your own custom kit. Then click Websites > Theme > Settings and enter your new Typekit key.

Did you mean Site Settings? there is not Websites > Theme > Settings. There is no typekit settings page at either the Site Settings or Settings page. Would you mind providing an accurate path for the typekit settings page?

I’ve got a similar problem. I’ve joined TypeKit with the free trial membership, and have put my TypeKit code into my theme settings but I’m unsure of how to actually activate the font. All I’m looking to do is to change the font of my nation name in the top left hand corner of the site banner.

There is a free option for TypeKit that provides two fonts. (https://typekit.com/plans) You will need to pay money for more than 2 fonts.

But they don’t let me make a kit for free. Does that mean I have to pay for Typekit separately when I’m already paying $5 extra to have a custom domain? Or, how can I get around it? Please advise.
