I've been working on this a wee while but having trouble getting the result I'm after. Any help or guidance in the right direction would be appreciated.

My current situation is:

I'm wanting to create a 'sign-up' form that's accessed when a user is already signed in. The user that's already signed in takes a computer around and get's people to 'sign up' from within their own account; I'm then wanting these people tagged.

How would I best go about doing this? I've looked at the templates but none seem to work this way (for example creating a new sign-up will simply be an edit page for the current logged in user).

Should I create a fully custom page with input fields that put sign-ups into the people database?
