Is there a way to get the 2nd line of bulleted text to align on the left under the text in the first line rather than under the bullet symbol?
Thanks!
Update - I see what you're saying!
- If I continue to write this sentence. If I continue to write this sentence. If I continue to write this sentence. If I continue to write this sentence.
- It does automatically tab under to the bullet. It does automatically tab under to the bullet. It does automatically tab under to the bullet.
You'll want to make sure that there isn't any extra formatting in your list.
<ul>
<li>Text 1.</li>
<li>Text 2</li>
</ul>
Hi Karen! I moved your question over to our FAQ page since it's something we can do! I am able to create a bulleted list like the one below just using the bullet button at the top of the editor (the three lines with dots next to the strikeout). Did you copy your bulleted list from another program like Word? You might need to take out some of the extra HTML that comes when you copy/ paste - you can see it in the HTML button in the editor.
I'd suggest pasting your text into a text editor to clear it of any extra formatting and then pasting back into NationBuilder and using the bullet button to separate them.
- Text one
- Text two
- Text three

Are you putting the text into a page in your nation? I did a quick look and I can’t find it on your site – but if you point me in the right direction I can take a deeper look! You can also email into [email protected] if you do not want to post a link to your site here.
I am working with long bulleted text that takes up two lines for each bullet. Currently the bulleted text appears like this:
• Bringing together our city government, our school district and Pleasanton-based corporations to support initiatives such as STEM, Project Lead The Way, PPIE and Junior Achievement.
I would like to have the 2nd line of the bulleted text, the part that starts with “intiatives such as STEM, Project Lead The Way…” align below the word, “Bringing” instead of aligned below the bullet symbol.
I have tried put in the text without any formatting (put it into Notepad first) and then selected the Bullet function, however, it does not properly align the 2nd line of text.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks
Karen
