Shouldn't a Facebook Like constitute Prospect or Supporter status?

When people like our Facebook posts, NationBuilder captures them and labels them as Non-Supporters. I think they should be classed as Supporters or at least Prospects, no?

Official response from Gavin DeSchutter

A "Like" for a comment does not equate to opting in to communications from a nation thus the reason they are listed as non-supporters. We do not plan on changing this setting.
