Non-deductible portion of a donation

Is there a way to record and/or indicate in the receipt the non-deductible portion of a donation when goods or services are received. Ticket to an event is $100 and the fair market value of goods and services received by the donor is $50. How do we let the donor know that?

This isn't possible right now but editing the .pdf of a donation receipt is a frequently requested thing. Please follow this suggestion for any updates.

This is an issue for one of my nations as well. We really don’t want to categorize and book event ticket sales as “donations”, especially given that a large portion of the cost is non-deductible.

I would like to get the answer to this question as well. I sell tshirts on the site and want to be able to send out a receipt for the donation part less the shipping and cost of the shirt.
