NationBuilder has liquid in the Donate page template to check if a donor meets eligibility requirements.
Our state's campaign finance laws do not require a donor to affirm compliance (e.g. by checking a box).
Can the eligibility checkbox be removed from the Donate page or will that cause issues?

Compliance check boxes are turned on and off via Settings--> Bank Accounts, edit the bank account. If there is text in the compliance rules box on that page of your control panel, the eligibility check will appear. If there isn't any text in that box, the eligibility check box won't appear.
