NationBuilder now has the option to add a New Person or a New Organization manually.
When importing a cvs. contact list there does not seem to be an option to add an organization.
As Jason indicated, you can import organizations. You can actually import a list of people and organizations at the same time. By default, imported records are assumed to be people.
To indicate that a record is an organization, use the signup_type field. Two numbers are accepted in this field. A zero indicates a person, while a one indicates an organization. Within your uploaded file, include only 0 or 1 in the signup_type field.
Since people and organizations are able to interact with your nation in similar ways, particular aspects of an organization must be mapped to particular fields in your database during import.
