We have a married couple that made a $100 contribution via credit card on our website, but they intended it to be $50 from each of them. Is there a way for us to retroactively split this $100 contribution into two $50 contributions, one for each contact?

Whether a donation can be edited or split depends on how the donation was made.
- If the donation was made by credit card, it can't be adjusted.
- If the donation was made by cash or check, you can edit the donation itself to change the amount donated. Once you have edited the original donation, you can manually enter the second donation (the one from the spouse) via Finances--> Donations--> New donation.
