How to use SMS feature in Kenya?

How can we use the SMS feature in Kenya? If we have a separate tool for SMS, can that somehow be synchronized with the NationBuilder database?

Official response from Gavin DeSchutter

You can receive texts from Kenyan phone numbers (internationally texting rates will apply to the sender of the text). You can only send text blasts to U.S. and Canadian numbers.

Activities between the NationBuilder and the SMS tool cannot be synchronized at this time since a NationBuilder API is not available.

At this time, only manual import/export is available between the two databases.

Thanks for reply. International texting rates is what unfortunately keeps us away from that solution and will have to stick with a custom solution. There is no way, even at a cost, to create a solutution to synchronize the two databases? Apart from manual Import/Export
