Does a Survey Require a Sign-in to Take

Hey Nationbuilder,

I need to tag the 3,800 people who have liked my organization's facebook page for various information (since I have no information on them to tag) and I was wondering if posting an auto-tagging survey on facebook was a viable idea.

It depends most on whether or not you need to sign-in to take the survey, and whether or not the information will transfer over to the profiles (or be able to match).

Thanks!

Hey Matthew, sign-ins are required for the survey to be taken; if we didn't prompt for sign-in, we wouldn't know which profile to associate the answers with. Users will have the ability to sign-in via Facebook authorization though, which will add them to your database as they answer the questions. In the interest of capturing all of the FB data you can, when you connected your FB page to the broadcaster it will have pulled in previous posts and the people who liked the posts in addition to allowing you to tag the people who liked those posts.
