  • Some knowledge about the interconnection between social and racial justice and the environmental emergency.
  • An understanding of, or interest in, UK politics.
  • Further details:
  • This work can be largely remote with the option of using a shared office space in East London. It will involve some travel to London for meetings, and some travel to Westminster and elsewhere to meet existing/prospective partners.

About Zero Hour:

  • Zero Hour is the campaign calling for the Climate & Ecology Bill; groundbreaking, science-led legislation bold enough to tackle the climate-nature crisis. The Bill would put us on the right path to restore nature, decarbonise fairly and include the public in a fair way forward.
  • Zero Hour is a mass-mobilisation campaign rapidly building a grassroots movement and alliance of NGOs, businesses, community groups, councils and scientists, as well as over 160 cross-party politicians.
  • By working for Zero Hour, you’ll be helping bring the CE Bill ever closer to passing into law, helping secure a liveable future for generations to come.
  • You can find out more at zerohour.uk or via our Twitter account, @cebill_now.

  • To apply, please submit a two page CV and a two page covering letter to [email protected] by midnight on 12 February 2023.
  • In your covering letter, please (1) explain your suitability for the role, and (2) propose how you think Zero Hour should advance an impactful digital campaign strategy over 2023 as part of building all-party, UK-wide support for the Climate & Ecology Bill campaign.
  • The closing date for applications is (midnight on) 12 February and interviews will take place on 15 February.
