Adding non-NB links to top nav

I'd like to include links to sites not hosted with my NationBuilder site on the top navigation bar. Is this possible?

Yes! Just us a redirect page type for your non-NationBuilder URL and put the slug for the redirect page in your top nav list. You can see this in action at sites like Ohio Citizen Action (Home tab) and Adriel Nation (SF Tech Dems and Gov 2.0 Radio tabs).

    Liz, try adding http:// to the beginning of the url if it isn’t already there.

    Hi Liz, Just shot you an email, but it appears a CNAME relationship is probably the better solution for you on this: http://nationbuilder.com/attach_domain_to_your_website_with_cname

    Our site also has the same issue as James Earle. The settings for the redirect page tack the url onto the end of mydomain.nationabuilder.com. We we would like one of the top navs to redirect to a different site externally separate from nationbuilder. Please advise at the soonest.

    This doesn’t seem to be working. The settings for the redirect page treat the URL like a slug, not an external link, and it tacks it onto the end of mydomain.nationbuilder.com. For example, entering www.google.com redirects to mydomain.nationbuilder.comwww.google.com.
