commented on Add more field options to the 'clear field' section of batch update
Just noting a change for folks who might find this thread in the future. You can now email to request a service to batch clear most ID fields (except NationBuilder ID which is mandatory) and the support team that answers that email account is able to carry this out free of cost for customers. To save yourself a step, add all the people to a list and include a link to that list in your email.

Also noting that since the time the original issue was posted, the list if fields you can clear in the list-view of the Control Panel has grown.

commented on Two-Factor authentication
Hi Ralph — I have an option for you:

If your Nation is on an Enterprise/Organization or Network-level plan you can configure login access using our Single-Sign-On (SSO) functionality. Since Google Apps offers a compliant SSO natively, once you configure it you can have an experience (that while not perfect) gets you close to your desired outcome.

Configure Google Apps SSO using the documentation linked below (feel free to loop in if you run into any issues).
-In your Google Apps account you require 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for all accounts.
-Issue your NationBuilder admins Google Apps powered email addresses. Making these emails the only ones with admin permissions to NationBuilder.
-In your Nation settings under “Auth” you toggle off all the sign-in options that you don’t want to support or don’t match your security preference (facebook, twitter etc).

To be clear, this isn’t a perfect solution for two big reasons:
-It’s possible for admins to manually add passwords in their accounts via the control panel.
-If you toggle off sign-in options in the Auth tab, that change also applies to non-Control Panel users who are trying to create accounts and login to the front facing site.

Those caveats notwithstanding, this option is provided here to help the community understand the options available at this time.
