you can create a custom tag to tag them in. Like for instance if you wanted to do an email blast go through and as you add more contacts to your nation you can tag them (Ex. Hispanic etc). So if you wanted to do an email blast targeting Hispanics you would simply send all to those tagged as Hispanic contacts
