Why would you NOT parse the address during data entry so you can have the separate fields to work with? e.g. Address1. Address2, City, State, Zip and perhaps standardize and format the data at the time it is input. I don’t see how we can easily take the one line, free-form text address and match it with voter records or geocode it.
