Navigation menus. The steering wheel and Thomas Guide (do those still exist?) of websites. It can be quite a task to get them right - especially when providing control panel users with an intuitive menu of items.
A month or two ago we talked about how to create an improved experience for site editing and generating sitemaps on the client-side, but there wasn't too deep of a dive on styling these elements.
Luckily, Eric Williams from the NationBuilder design team put together a nice kit for including a pre-formatted fixed nav menu to any custom NationBuilder theme. Not only does this menu include direct-edit links for the page a control panel user is currently on when logged in, it comes in a sticky and collapsible format right out of the box.
Go ahead and add Eric's kit to your layout.html file and save some time!
