We have a goal at NationBuilder to provide auto-districting for all districts worldwide.
Auto-districting has long been available for our American, Canadian, UK, and Australian customers. Recently, we added New Zealand to this list, and as of January 1st this feature is available for all French nations – this is all nations who have “France” selected under Settings > Contact.
How does auto-districting work? Well, any profile in your nation with a complete primary address will display accurate political districts including: arrondissements, cantons, communes, départements, and régions. All new French nations will have auto-districting enabled by default, and any existing French nations can update the existing profiles in their nation by turning auto-districting off and then back on again at Settings > Political.
