How do I export most recent donation amount?

I can export an aggregate of total past donations, but can't find where to export more recent data on the last amount donated, first amount donated, etc. How do I do this?

Hi Brianna!

There are two fields available in exports (people and finances) for "first_donated" and "last_donated" that show the date of the person's first donation, and the date of the person's most recent donation. There are also criteria you can filter for in the finance tab for "most recent amount donated" and "first amount donated", but unfortunately that amount doesn't export.

“…but unfortunately that amount doesn’t export.” Then can’t you create or build something that allows it to export? That seems like a logical solution that will help a lot of campaigns. NGP offers that option, and it’s disappointing to find out that it simply doesn’t exist as an option in NationBuilder.

We’d really like to have the amount of last donation (and even page slug!) in the people export too.

It would be a pain, but to get last donation, you could take each from last month and subtract each from this month. This would work if there were only one donation, otherwise, you need to do it by dates in the month.
