How do I pause a sub-nation?

That's a great question.

Every subnation is its own individual nation (i.e., they're all independently billed accounts). So to pause a sub-nation you'd follow the same steps as you would to pause any other nation.

It's also worth noting that pausing a sub-nation will not impact the status of its parent nation; nor will pausing a parent nation affect the status of a sub-nation.

    Still would love to see a “Pause” button for sub-nations and sites, in addition to the whole account. The work-around seems to be opening a whole second “archive” account, exporting your site(s) over, and then pausing that whole account before the the free trial period ends and bills you.

    From NB’s revenue point of view, keep in mind that restricting sites to full delete doesn’t really incentivize users to keep their secondary sites active (and billable) so much as it just discourages us from quickly re-launching those sub-sites again when desired (e.g. anything seasonal, annual festival/convention sites, etc)…

    Ah, understood.

    It’s not possible to pause a site within your nation. It can only be kept or deleted.

    Actually Ian,I think I have an “additional site” as opposed to a “sub-nation” as it is not billed separately but is under my company account. I know I can go into that site’s settings page and delete the site but I don’t see how to pause it.
