I have a custom web theme based on Aware. Is there a simple way to disable the responsiveness that happens on mobile devices to just show the standard site?

Responsive web design principles are tightly woven into the fabric of the Aware theme and there is no simple way to remove or deactivate them.
In order to stop Aware from acting responsively, you would need to substantially edit its stylesheets in order to either remove or modify the parameters of the media queries that trigger the style changes.
