Wanting to create an advanced search of donors who have given a total amount within a certain time frame. Is that how the "just this cycle" field in advanced search is intended to be used? How do you specify a cycle?
I just don't see anything in the help docs about the cycle field ;)

The "Just this cycle" searches in People > Advanced Search (pictured below) will search only for people who have donated during the current election cycle.
Election cycles can be configured within your Control Panel by navigating to Settings > Political > Elections.
