By Is it possible to default Endorsements to "drafted" or something else that allows for moderation before being displayed publicly on the website? What suggestions do you have for keeping this feature from becoming a way that the public might post spam or other undesired content before being caught?

To create a higher barrier for spammers on Endorsement pages, you can require any of the following: organization, picture, phone, and/or address. You can also easily view all endorsements on the page Dashboard for auditing purposes.
If you feel administrators should have the ability to prevent individual Endorsements from appearing on the site, feel free to submit a feature suggestion.
