can i enter the PAC id when importing

You can use the External ID field to import an id like this. This field is a Unique identifier, so it can be used to update records when included in future imports.

    thank you. i am now trying to import contributions without knowing id numbers for contacts and used the sign up id as first row to the left as instructed but continue to get this message There were errors on some mapped fields:
    id is not an integer number"
