Digital and mobile organizing help people transcend traditional infrastructures and power holds to allow like minded individuals build their own active communities across all traditional boarders.

The US and other developed communities have grown up organizing through many traditional methods, has this history set us back in adapting new tools in activating like minded individuals to our movements? What can we learn from those in Egypt who used Facebook and Twitter to gather in Tahrir Square? Or using missed calls on cells in India to call people to action for the worlds largest democratic election.
