NationBuilder on the road

NationBuilder lives in the cloud, and so do we. But whenever we have the chance, we like to get outside of the video chat, phones and email to meet IRL with other on- and offline organizers, activists, developers and community leaders around the world. Yes, in June, NationBuilder hits the road.

In the next two weeks, Jim and I will be leaving the West Coast for four events in New York, North Carolina and DC.

I arrive in Raleigh on Thursday early for three days of CityCampRAL and will be in town through Monday morning, June 6. In Raleigh, I'll be meeting up with the NationBuilder implementation pros at Richir Outreach and talking about San Francisco Gov 2.0 initiatives like Let's Do It SF and the SF Fire App initiative. I'll also be hosting a Gov 2.0 Radio wrap of the CityCamp from the road. I've got lots of unscheduled time while in Raleigh, so if you're in The Triangle area, please hit me up.

Jim is in New York from Sunday to Tuesday, June 5-7, for OpenGov Camp NYC and the Personal Democracy Forum. At PdF, Jim is speaking twice on Tuesday: “The Internet is My Religion,” at 11:15 a.m., and a deep dive session with Martin Avila, creator of FreedomConnector, at 2 p.m..

On Wednesday, June 8, I'll be in Washington, DC, for the InsideNGO Annual Meeting, talking about the power of social media for nonprofits, then flying out Thursday.

We look forward to seeing many of you while we're on the road, but if you want to be sure to meet up with Jim in NYC, email him at jim at nationbuilder.com. You can get me at adriel at nationbuilder.com to synch up in Raleigh or DC.
