It’s about that time of year — #GivingTuesday is quickly approaching, so we want to make sure you have everything you need to raise money and meet your goals.

We know there are a ton of different approaches to end-of-year fundraising, so here are some key strategies to accelerate your #GivingTuesday success.

  • Increase your donations by making it easy for supporters, new and old, to donate. With the NationBuilder Donation (v2) page, you can have a determined donation amount auto-highlighted, which will encourage donors to donate the pre-selected amount.

  • NationBuilder’s payment processor now accepts annual recurring donations, which will be key to keeping your donor base active year-over-year. It’s also a great way to build an ongoing relationship with people who’ve contributed to your cause.

  • The follow-up is just as important as the work leading up to the big day, so use our newest feature, Workflows (currently in beta) to make sure the action doesn’t stop when the day of giving is over. This means that you can take your list of #GivingTuesday donors and send them a timed email sequence that highlights your work, and builds towards converting them into sustainers.
