Deleting All Contacts

Hello- I recently imported contacts, and I was wondering how you delete all of your contacts that you have imported. The contacts I entered were from an old list.

You'll want to add everyone to a list and then delete them - make sure not to delete yourself or NationBuilder support!

Erin, I would suggest running a filter in your database to find everyone who does not have a tag, adding those folks to a list, and then deleting the contacts on that list. Check these resources for more info on how to do that!

What if I want to delete everyone from my contacts who does not have a tag? Is this possible?

Ron is correct. However, if people in your database have any financial transactions associated with them (donations or invoice payments), you’ll need to delete the financial transactions before you can remove the person from your database.

To delete all your contact from a nation, simply add them all to a single list, then go to that list and choose ‘batch delete’
