Occasionally while scrolling through our Donations Activity page I see listings for people who had problems donating. It'd be great if NB could send me an email any time this happens. It strikes me that these are people I'd want to be notified about and reach out directly to ASAP to see how I can help them succeed in donating. Just recently I noticed that someone tried to donate $250 to us. If I could have reached out to him right away, we probably could have figured out a way to capture this donation.

Email notifications should be able to be sent automatically for ANY TYPE of donation problem, be it abandoned, failed, or anything else. Currently we cannot filter for ANY type of donation problems, clearly a major oversight. When I called support they suggested we use the dashboard’s activity stream and search for “Donation Problem,” well the person whose donation had failed 3 times when they tried to do it themselves did not appear in that activity stream. What is more, we had to do a separate search on the activity stream for abandoned donation. Simply following the activity on specific donation pages isn’t sufficient either because no where on the activity stream of any of our pages could I see the 3 failed donations.
Come on Nationbuilder Guru’s, I have faith in your technological prowess. This is critical feature that shouldn’t be left up to us luckily happening to click on someone in the database of tens of thousands and seeing that they had a issue unsuccessfully attempting to give us money…..
