The MEND poverty conference focus this year is "Hungry for Good Food" which speaks on issues that relates food access to social justice issues. We will be engaging in dialogues around food equity while brainstorming ways to advocate on this issue. I look forward to meeting non-profit organizations based in LA that are working on food justice and environmental issues and be an asset for them as they think about organizing for their respective causes.
