Updating default email body template

I'm trying to change the default sign off in email blasts for the Body text (Not the theme template). Am I able to change it from what the default seems to be:

{{ recipient.first_name_or_friend }} -- {{ broadcaster.name }} {{ settings.site.full_url }}

Am I able to change this and where do I go to change it?

Hi Shane,

You are able to edit the default sign off in email blasts from the body of the text, but not at the theme level. You can customize the introduction, broadcaster name, and full site URL to whatever fits your needs, but these items cannot be adjusted so that email blasts have a new greeting or sign off.

Yes, I can do it for every single email blast. But some people I have trained don’t do that, so I want to make the default closer to what we regularly say in our emails.

David, while you cannot make that change on the theme level you can definitely type ’Dear ’ in front of the smart field for first name or friend and have it appear in your email blasts.

is impolite in England, we always use
Dear Name,

Internationalization also needs to take place in English.

I would prefer {{ settings.site.full_url }} to display the name of the site, with the link as a hyperlink. That’s how hyperlinks are supposed to work.

where do I do this? I looked in the site settings, and can’t find where to set the {{ settings.site.full_url }}

I want that NOT to go to our nb page, but instead to our main wp site. or actually, I’d prefer to get rid of that line.

It would be useful to move {{ settings.site.full_url }} outside the body and into the email theme template.
That way it could point to a subpage or site (at the moment points to parent site)
It could also then be styled as a button for example.
