I am nominating Keri Lee from Richmond, Virginia. Keri is a full-time special education teacher in Chesterfield County Public Schools, and also operates a nonprofit coffee roaster that trains and employs people with disabilities. She noticed that individuals with disabilities transitioning out of school oftentimes did not have the training that they needed to enter a workforce, and even more often there were no positions available to fit their needs. She decided to take action on this by launching Thrive Coffee, who, since March, has been roasting coffee to support this mission. Check out her website at DrinkThrive.org.
