Search by permission level

Seems that in the Advanced Search criteria there is no way to search for all people assigned to specific permission levels. Is there? Clearly it would be handy to have lists of everyone you have assigned at each permission level NB permits (ie., intern, leader, staff, etc.)

Interns, leaders, staffers, or admins are not searchable fields in the "Advanced Search" tab. You can, however, see a full list of people with control panel permissions under the "People" > "Point People" tab (https://yournationslug.nationbuilder.com/admin/signups/permissions).

    I’m astounded that I can’t search my nation to find is assigned a specific permission set . How in the world am I supposed to manage my users if I can’t even find who is assigned to what? I want to change permissions for a number of users but I can’t even find who they are. This is a “must fix immediately” issue for us.

    Agree that permission level should be added as a filterable field in People search, esp. since not all CPUs are assigned as point persons .

    We have tagged members with assigned permission levels, but this is a manual process and thus subject to human error. Now when roles change we need to take two steps rather than one! Not what you expect from your software!

    The official response is kind of weak. In short, it’s a security problem waiting to happen to not be able to search on all privileged access. I mean, it’s 2017, this was opened in 2012. NB is not cheap, yet I keep hitting these roadblocks where really, really basic things are just missing, known by NB, and left untouched.

    What you search for is “Control Panel” and this gives you all the users with Control Panel access. You can save your search for use at a later date.

    This is not an acceptable answer – the current status of point people can be highly dynamic and from time to time a large nation needs an easy way to email all point people and those people only. Right now, I am confronted with the unsavory prospect of having to click the + sign next to point people 122 times to add new point people to a list…

    Labeling this function “point people” rather than NB permissions is rather confusing and not exactly intuitive. When you add people, you assign permissions. Nowhere else in the process of setting permissions is there any mention of point people. Maybe it would be a good idea to change the label to match what the act of setting up a person’s relationship to the site is called?
