how to change from campaign to elected official?

Official response from

The site types that are displayed during the install process are just pre-built templates that have slightly different filler text on the pages and that have different pages already created in the website when a site is created. The availablity of page types when creating a new page does not differ based on which "Site type" you chose during the install process.

If you would like to completely overhaul your website and start from one of the other site type templates, you can create a new site from the "Sites" tab of your control panel and delete your existing site. However, it is likely that you will find it easier to manually add and delete some pages on your existing site to make it feel more like an "Elected official" site than a "Campaign" site.

For example, once elected many of our customers will remove their donation page, add a "Contact your official" feedback page and change the logo/photos/text content on their site to shift the look and feel from a campaign site to an elected official/constituency-relations site.

Please give us a call or email if you'd like to talk about how to best update your website to work as a constituent services website!
