This is also an excellent suggestion: “increase the font size of the Sign in and perhaps change the wording to login.”
Big picture, NationBuilder should be doing real usability testing with computer-literate users. (I’m sure this issue would crop up again and again) and then test again, as you try out different approaches to resolving issues that arise.
We know to login with email or facebook or twitter, but most people are just going to enter their email and press the big button… hence the duplicates. BTW, Sue, I can probably help you to modify the template, if you draw a picture of what you’re looking for. I don’t have the capacity to change NB’s default behavior, but could take a stab at implementing any styling ideas you’ve got.

Nationbuilder is terrific... but uploading photos to a NationBuilder blog doesn't win usability awards.
- I wonder if there's a way to make it a little more obvious. For instance, perhaps the TinyMCE image upload icon could click through to the file uploads page.
- Default theming for a blog image could be improved.- One user has asked about accessing images that were uploaded to a separate blog, which Im' guessing is a common use case.
- Also, having a picture resize function inside the CMS seems pretty standard these days. Does the width/height setting simply resize the dimensions, or does it actually resize the photo?

In almost every other web development environment, Firebug happily displays the line number of the style sheet. In NationBuilder, it always says "line 1" since the scss file has been compacted to one line. Would there be a way to have a developer's option, to turn off style sheet compression?

Please offer an interface for changing the default jQuery UI css theme. All sites are currently required to link to this theme:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.16/themes/cupertino/jquery-ui.css" type="text/css" media="all">Enabling a different jQuery theme (or a separate custom css file override) for jQuery UI will facilitate custom designs. Currently it requires a lot of poking around to make the necessary overrides.

Using profile_image in an activity stream or a grid
Is there any way to amend the activity stream to show a profile picture?
Is there a way to stream profile pictures of people who signed a commitment (tagged a suggestion?)
For instance, at

(currently only one person displays in that activit stream, but for whomever is there, would be great to have a photo)
Also, is there a way to present a grid of people who signed a particular action, similar to below

in the leaderboard code. And I see http://nationbuilder.com/signup_variables including profile_image_url and profile_image
So far no luck actually using those variables, myself. I'd appreciate sample code. Note that this question has multiple use cases. The most immediate is to be able to amend or modify the activity stream to include photos.
