For a number of reasons, I don't want to convert my personal Facebook profile to a page. But when I go into the communications setting for my broadcaster, there is no way to connect that broadcaster to me personal FB profile instead of a page.
Is there anyway to get this functionality? I have well over 4,000 friends on FB, and I want to be able to bring them into my nation database...
Brian, Facebook profiles cannot be connected to broadcasters in NationBuilder.
Facebook allows more third-party interactions with pages, which is how we're able to do things like add activities when someone likes a post on your page or RSVPs for an event on a page you manage.
Facebook profiles are connected to your records in NationBuilder when someone uses the app to authorize a login, and that will allow users to find friends who've already joined your nation.
