Edit size of Blog Preview Before the Flip

Hi Friends,

We are trying to customize our nation to show more of a blog post preview in the blog page from the before the flip text (http://www.prodane.org/media) and can't find a place to modify this. Where would we go to modify this setting?

By default, NationBuilder blog posts allow you to control exactly what text appears before and after the flip, as shown below:

With the Civitas theme, the "before the flip" text is restricted to 30 words by this line in both the pages_show_blog.html and pages_show_blog_wide.html documents under your Theme:

I figured it out! If this is helpful for anyone else, the excerpt show is different depending on where it shows up. In my case, I wanted the change the excerpt shown on the homepage. So, in _homepage_excerpt.html I found the section and changed <div class=“truncate-300”> to <div class=“truncate-500”></div>

This information seems to be outdated, or is not relevant to other themes. Where can I modify the number of words allowed before the flip? I am using verve if that makes a difference. Thanks!
