Polis automates these processes in a beautiful, easy-to-use mobile canvassing app that is now available on the NationBuilder app directory. Polis generates ideal walking routes based on canvassers’ locations. Canvassers can see how many voters they’ve contacted and how much support they’ve gathered. Polis’ web app displays the results of canvasses live as each door is knocked. Canvassers can enter data as they walk between houses.
How to take advantage of this integration:
Step 1: Create an account and login to the Polis dashboard.
Step 2: Select 'Import/Export Data' on the left side and select 'Connect' next to NationBuilder.
Step 3: Enter your NationBuilder 'slug'. You will be redirected to your nation to login and authenticate your account.
Step 4: NationBuilder should now show up as connected in Polis. Select 'Import Lists'.
Step 5: Select the lists you would like to import and click 'Done'.
Step 6: Back on your refreshed main dashboard, your NationBuilder data is now integrated into your canvassing platform.
Now your field canvassers can download the Polis app on iOS or Android devices and begin canvassing. Responses are logged as contacts via Polis in your nation. Learn more about Polis on the app directory.
