Scenario: user is in a native app, shares on Facebook, this user is the user who will get the social capital.
They have an OAuth token, but they don't seem to have permission to give themselves capital via the API, how can I achieve giving them capital?

This should work. I tested this using contacts (since contacts can log PC). I created a random volunteer and authenticated using OAuth and was able to log a contact and get the PC for that engagement.
What end-point are you hitting? Could you include a sample JSON body in your reply so I can try to replicate this in my sandbox?
