I'm trying to set up Google Analytics for our site. Google is moving everything to the new Universal Analytics. I chose Universal Analytics for my account. However, it appears that NationBuilder inserts Classic Analytics tracking code rather than the Universal Analytics tracking code into the site. Thus, my Analytics account isn't detecting the code. Do I have to use Classic Analytics or is there a way to get Universal Analytics working?
Google Universal Analytics is still in beta testing mode and does not currently support several key features. With your websites on NationBuilder, you'll need to use Classic Analytics for now. We will continue to closely monitor the development of Universal Analytics and will update this question when things change.
