Is it possible to not show the auto tweak/share block on pages where it appears to be part of the template?

The social sharing prompt is rendered as part of the {{ content_for_notifications }} tag in the site's theme, which is typically found in the _columns_1.html or _columns_2.html templates.
Moving that Liquid tag elsewhere would change the place within your site's theme that those prompts (and all other notification messages) appear.
