The hub of all your fundraising activities lies in the Finances dashboard. A row of the most critical fundraising stats lines the top of the page and is updated live -- from the number of donors, average donation per supporter, amount raised in the day, the month, the year, the primary to the entire election cycle.
A fundraising specific news feed provides up to the second donation activity and is accompanied by a descending list of supporters.
Use NationBuilder's unique moneybomb page to ask supporters to pledge to donate at a specific time and to recruit their friends to do the same. A countdown clock counts down the seconds, minutes, hours and days left to pledge to donate.
Accept payments for annual, monthly or weekly site memberships and define multiple membership levels at different price points. Make specific pages accessible to members only and create badges which will appear next to members names to show off their level of support. There are many ways you could use paid memberships, such as clubs who need to accept dues, or if you're selling a subscription to an area of your site. You could even offer merchandise like t-shirts, stickers or buttons at certain membership levels to encourage users to sign up, just like public radio fund drives.
All the best practices for accepting donations are built in. Set a goal for the amount of money to raise or number of donors and a prominent thermometer displays the progress to your supporters. Give credit where credit is due by enabling a feature to thank the donor who made the most recent public donation right on the donation page. Use the control panel to easily identify past donors or active supporters and generate call sheets to hit the phones.
