Can I attach a PDF to an email blast?

Attaching files to an email blast is not supported in NationBuilder. In many cases, people who want to attach PDFs to email blasts are trying to send an email newsletter to recipients.

Attaching large files to a mass email is likely to trigger spam filters, preventing your message from reaching intended recipients. Instead, consider uploading the file to the blast's linked file directory (shown above) or another cloud hosting solution like Dropbox. You can then hyperlink to the file within your email body.

    I tried what has been suggested – and when I try to open the link in the test email nothing happens and nothing opens. I have tried to use the URL link and the image link – nothing happens……

    Katy — Right click on the file’s name in your Files tab (as pictured above) and copy the URL. Link to that URL from within the Body tab.

    Files, like PDFs, cannot be sent in NationBuilder email blasts as attachments.

    Jason I appreciate and understand your answer. Attaching a PDF to an email intended for 1000 recipients may not be the smartest or most elegant solution however my question remains, can nation builder attach a PDF to blast email?
