Local campaign finance law has separate donation limits for off-year vs. election year. For example, a candidate could raise a maximum of $1000 in the off year (2013), and then a maximum of $5000 in the election year (2014).
Is there any direct way to track this? If not, is there a workaround using the election cycles?
