I'd love to see a liquid tag for 'precinct' (or precinct code) added so that we can provide different content to a signed-in user based on thier electoral district.

Having studied your instructions on how to display content from one page on another page, I wonder if the same could be achieved across various websites of one nation.

This way of cross-promoting content is quite important to us. Ideally, we'd have a portal page that lists recent posts, events, and activities from all sites across the nation.

It would be helpful if NB included an expenses integration to keep track of campaign related expenses (like for Nationbuilder!). Expenses have to be filed along with contributions so it would be helpful to have this all in one place. The the finance tab could have "cash on hand" so that the candidate/mgr would have an idea of how much money is available. Maybe this could be a tie-in with Freshbooks? (they just introduced automatic downloads from your banks, which is awesome!)

It would be helpful if we could create a drop down for occupation that the subscriber could customize. When filing reports, the report filer needs to fit each donor into a occupation category. Letting the contributor do that during the contribution process would save a great deal of time.

Most jurisdictions have donation limits by individual person; campaign finance reports can list only ONE person per donation.  The Donation page should have a option to verify that the donor is just one person; not "Joe and Sally" or "Mr. and Mrs."--that is not allowed by campaign finance reporting law.  This is easily done, just look for " and "  or " & " in the first name field and give an error message.  Otherwise I have to manually edit such donations and call the donor to see which one name they want to use as donor.  This is easy--my state's CFR system rejects any donation with multiple names as "non-compliant".

can you customize your database to have memo fields and birthdates and such?

I really like the new clone feature on the bulk email, but one issue is that it would be very helpful to have the files attached to the source email also clone as well.  Currently I have to clone the email and then manually save the images to my hard drive and then re-upload the images to the new email.

I want to create filters for email blasts (because they are dynamic as opposed to lists that are static). It would be great to have an option to select "not tagged as" in the advanced search.

For organizations trying to transfer their databases over to NationBuilder from other platforms this would be a very useful tool. Many databases have extra note fields that organizations populate with important info. When it comes time to move to NationBuilder there is nowhere to put this info other than the background note field, which is usually the first to go. For additional notes you are out of luck.

Being able to import note columns as a new private note would eliminate this issue, and since private notes are unlimited in NB you could import as many different note fields as you'd like.

It would be nice to be able to clone a page. It would be useful in keeping the same format for other pages

It would be nice to be able to create new types of custom template pages. For example, a photos or videos page, etc. 

NB's email server (as opposed to gmail) appears to have NO SPAM FILTERING.  So our NB site has been deluged with spam supporters, spam people, and spam prospects.  They would be most of our "people" if we didn't delete them daily.  It has rendered NB almost useless.  If NB can't put a really good spam filter on it's email server, then it should not offer the option.  Apparently even NB's own support folks don't user NB email; they use gmail. We choose NB's email because it was "one stop shopping" and should have been seemless with NB.  But we can't tolerate this anymore!

This is an important functionality, especially for the fundraising teams out there. This goes along with the ability to print more detailed reports. The idea here is that before we go to export a particular list we have the ability to select which fields are included in that export.

It would be nice to be able to import via CSV files contact logs. Sometimes, we use external ways to contact supporters and we could then import it into our NationBuilder database. 

It would be nice and very useful to be able to have a multiple answers option in surveys. At the moment, the multiple choice option allows only one answer.

We've just started, but are getting many spam emails to our NB-hosted email (with our domain name).  These incoming emails show up as "supporters" somehow and must be manually deleted; very annoying and time consuming.  It appears that NB served email does NOT have a good spam filter--you should; you must!

This template would be in addition to the credit card donation page.  It would have instructions for donation AND it would have field for the required information: first name, middle name, last name, street address1, street address2, city, state, occupation (conditional), employer (conditional), email (optional), phone (optional).  And a print button to print a form to mail in.      It would be even better if it captured this information as a sort of "pledge" that could be matched up when the check came in, so there would be no data entry!  Then have a screen enter the checks and match against pledge and automatically send a thankyou email or print a form to snailmail.
