Did you know that no matter where you are in the world, most of your supporters donate at the same time? 79% of donations happen in the afternoon, which is a striking reminder that across regions and cultures, people often act at the same moments. What changes is how organizers meet them there: through different languages and organizing models shaped by local context.
From native-language support and region-specific payment options to smarter districting and easier website customization, this year’s updates reflect our belief that where you lead should never be a barrier to how you lead.
Here’s a look at the updates we made this year, shaped by customer feedback from around the world:
🌐 ActionButton, now multilingual
To help campaigns connect with even more communities, ActionButton is now available in French, Italian, and Spanish, enabling advocacy efforts across borders and languages.
🇬🇧 Donations made seamless
In the UK, NationBuilder now supports Bacs Direct Debit, making it easier for organizations to accept donations and payments through a trusted and widely used payment method.

🌍 Enhanced districting, globally
We made improvements to autodistricting in order to help leaders organize more effectively across multiple countries:
- In the Netherlands, we introduced province and municipality-based autodistricting.
- In the UK, we added a new layer for District Electoral Areas (DEAs) to better support campaign efforts in Northern Ireland.
- In Australia, we updated districting data ahead of their federal election to ensure organizers have the most accurate information at their fingertips.
- And in New Zealand, we rolled out support for ward-based autodistricting, replacing a previous workaround that relied on precincts.
🇲🇽 Track party affiliation in Mexico
Organizers in Mexico can now track supporter affiliation with all current major political parties, directly in the control panel. This helps campaigns and civic movements better understand and engage their base, with data that reflects the country's political landscape.
🧭 Global by default
As more leaders across the globe use NationBuilder to power their movements, we’re continuing to make the platform more inclusive and accessible. A refreshed Raise stock theme was released just a few days after the start of 2026, featuring French and Spanish translations, accessibility improvements, and simplified customization of key design elements, making it easier to build action websites that reflect a variety of communities.

We also added Dutch as a language option when starting a trial on the NationBuilder website, creating a smoother onboarding experience for new users in the Netherlands.
We’re proud to support the work of customers across the globe who speak many different languages, and we remain committed to making our tools more accessible, localized, and relevant for every leader.
