Link to change email address in footer
How might I include, in addition to the unsubscribe link, a path for people to change their personal information in NationBuilder at the foot of an email?
Official response from Jesse Haff consideringYou can't currently include that link in an email footer, but that's something we may change in the future.
Can we change the primary url?
We've changed the name of our organization - can we change the primary url? It may not matter if we use our own domain name.
Official response from Adriel Hampton not plannedNo, you cannot change the primary URL. If you use a custom domain name, the NationBuilder URL with your original slug will show only on a limited number of pages such as secure donation pages.
Can I remove the site url from the broadcaster in an email?
While we're still working on our site and who's going to help us with our site, we want to get an email out to some very new sign-ups, so they don't forget about us! Can I remove the url under the broadcaster's name?
Official response from Adriel Hampton completedYes. You can also edit the email response footer in the email template, or update your organization's contact information under Settings.
Can a broadcaster have a different, general, email address for email respondents to see?
I'm setting up my boss as a broadcaster. He has an email address, but I don't want that to be the one people see or respond back to. If he has broadcaster status in the system, would we have two email addresses for him? His personal email where he receives info about NationBuilder and then the generic address that email respondents see? If yes, can we set one up in NationBuilder that goes to me instead?
Official response from Adriel Hampton completedYes, you can create broadcasters with an executive's or prominent endorser's name and a generic return email address. You can then blast from that broadcaster, and have personal addresses in the system as well. The broadcaster profiles are separate from the "People" profiles in NationBuilder.
About Us blurb on the form that pops up to comment on the blog
We can put a little bit about us on the sign up form "page," but that pop out box that comes up in order to comment on the blog just asks people to give their info without necessarily knowing anything about the organization. Is there any way to include a short bit of info in that box?
