Paypal is now fully integrated as a payment processor.
We did the good integration too, where it's as seamless as possible flipping to Paypal's site and immediately coming back to your NationBuilder site and resuming the normal flow. All the NationBuilder donation tracking, email notifications, and social sharing features are fully supported.
Paypal is very popular, it has been one of our most requested features primarily from organizations in Canada and Australia where we didn't previously have a good payment solution. It doesn't require a merchant account, which makes it very easy to get started accepting credit card donations. It can be used by organizations based in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Israel, U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Turkey, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
And all payment processors we support, Paypal, Democracy Engine, Authorize.net, Payflow Pro, ActBlue, and SagePay can accept donations from virtually every country on earth.
To add it to your nation, go into Settings > Bank accounts > New bank account and choose Paypal. There are instructions there on what you need to get from Paypal to connect your account to NationBuilder. Then you just need to make a donation page and choose that as the account to use. If you already have a donation page, you can change it to Paypal, or if you want to accept Paypal in addition to how you are currently doing donations, you can set up a new donation page and include a link from one to the other.
