Really, it’s a dopeslap issue, and one that I would leave Nationbuilder over. Please, please fix this!
I’m finding the existing documentation unwieldy and often unhelpful. Maybe I’m missing something, but I can’t find, say, a simple description of the various roles and their associated permissions. In most other cloud-base systems I’ve used (e.g., Salesforce, Moodle) there is always a vendor-produced page that explains the functionality. With NB, I’m often frustrated, wasting time wandering around the FAQ’s hoping that someone has asked a question near enough to mine that I can get a quick answer.
Having to post the question myself, and wait for a person to answer, is a barrier I often don’t cross. I just stay frustrated.

I agree. I would also like to give volunteers access to only segments of the voter list.
where is my dashboard?
Official response from Jason Meer completedYou can access your NationBuilder Dashboard by logging in as an administrator. If you have a custom theme that does not have a link to your login page, you can access it from [slug].nationbuilder.com/admin.
In this clip from NationBuilder Live, VP of Community Adriel Hampton explains the different activity that can be seen in the dashboard view of your control panel:
Same problem in Philadelphia, city of over 1.5 million people, where municipal elections affect more people than statewide elections elsewhere.
Yes, please! It would also be helpful if we could upload .ics files somewhere on our site so that we could put a link to an .ics file in our email blasts.
Maybe by surrounding the message in red, and writing “Delete all 271 people from the database” on the giant red button. I’m not trying to escape blame here, but I think I just didn’t see the message at the bottom of the page. And part of the reason I didn’t read/see the message is that I’d gotten used to the idea that NB warning messages weren’t helpful (see next paragraph).
It would also be helpful if, in all contexts, the confirmation specified the result (e.g., on removing someone from a list, the “yes/no” confirmation should say, instead of “are you sure?”, “are you sure you want to remove this person from this list?”
Keep up the good work!

How to Batch Update Donations?
I'd like to batch update some donations (specifically, assign them to a fundraiser). What's the best way to do this?
Jerimee, I found out the hard way that no, you can’t restore your data to how it was yesterday. Which brings me to my next question: can I do my own backup by exporting? I have about 1M people in my voterfile, so I can’t just export all my people and their data.
After importing our voter file, we have a de-duping catch-22: if we merge the voter file record into our existing record, we lose the precinct and other data; if we merge the other way, we lose (at least) the note and possibly other data too. This is terrible!!!!! Please fix asap!!!!
