I think what we all want is to create a blog and set a staffer as author. Then for that logged in staffer to be able to hit a button saying “New Post” and create a new post on the blog. Nobody else gets the “New Post” button so the staffer gets total control of the blog but cannot do harm elsewhere. Also they don’t have to wade through the control panel which is fine for me but not them.
